Sie ist Teil der bekannten Suntory-Gruppe. Die Hakushu Distillery wurde ein halbes Jahrhundert nach Yamazaki gegr\u00fcndet, als Keizo Saji die Vision seines Vaters in seinem Streben nach Innovation erbte und 1973 diese zweite Suntory-Destillerie baute. Hakushu wurde aufgrund seiner unverwechselbaren nat\u00fcrlichen Umgebung, die sich stark von Yamazaki unterscheidet, ausgew\u00e4hlt und produziert Whiskys, die von den Eigenschaften der Umgebung der Destillerie durchdrungen sind. Alles, von den einzigartigen Produktionsprozessen bis hin zu den exquisiten Aromen der Hakushu-Whiskys, ist das Ergebnis der Existenz der Destillerie in perfekter Harmonie mit ihrer Umgebung.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun fact:\u00a0<\/strong>Ganz sch\u00f6n hoch&#8230; Die Hakushu-Destillerie liegt auf knapp 700m und z\u00e4hlt damit zu den am h\u00f6chsten gelegenen Whiskysbrennereien Japans. Dadurch verwendet Hakushu ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich weiches Gebirgswasser, welches durch das klar flie\u00dfende Regenwasser und geschmolzenen Schnee am Berg Kaikomagatake in den japanischen S\u00fcdalpen entsteht. Mit den vier ausgepr\u00e4gten Jahreszeiten, der klaren Luft und dem k\u00fchlen, feuchten Klima der ausgedehnten W\u00e4lder von Hakushu kann die Destillerie in einem langsamen &amp; gem\u00e4chlichen Prozess hochwertigen Whisky herstellen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: The Hakushu Distiller&rsquo;s Reserve<\/strong><br \/>\nAus der Hakushu-Destillerie in den Ausl\u00e4ufern des Mount Kaikomagatake kommt der Distiller&rsquo;s Reserve Single Malt Whisky. Ohne Altersangabe, aber daf\u00fcr mit rauchigen, sowie kr\u00e4utrigen Eigenschaften von ausdrucksstarken Whiskys. Leicht torfig, durch stark getorftes Malz, welches f\u00fcr diesen komplexen und zutiefst genussvollen Whisky verwendet wurde.<br \/>\nIn der Nase zeigen sich \u00ab\u00a0Kr\u00e4uter, die absolut im Vordergrund stehen. Das sind Pfefferminze, Kiefer und angenehme grasige Noten. Gurke und Melone runden die Nase ab\u00a0\u00bb.<br \/>\nAm Gaumen \u00ab\u00a0schwimmen dann m\u00fchelos alle Aromen aus der Nase durch den Gaumen, wobei die Minze im Laufe der Zeit immer s\u00fc\u00dfere Noten entwickelt. Zitrusschalen tauchen auch auf, um in gewisser Weise \u00ab\u00a0Hallo\u00a0\u00bb zu sagen\u00a0\u00bb. Der Abgang ist dann gepr\u00e4gt durch \u00ab\u00a0eine Rauchwolke mit einem sehr langen Abgang\u00a0\u00bb.
