Bereits seit Anfang 1990 besch\u00e4ftigt sich das Team von Mossburn mit dem Blenden und Abf\u00fcllen von Whisky. Ihre geb\u00fcndelte Erfahrung erstreckt sich \u00fcber mehrere Generationen, mit mehr als einem Jahrhundert kontinuierlicher Familiengeschichte in der Scotch Whisky Industrie. Als \u00ab\u00a0Master of Mossburn\u00a0\u00bb gilt Neil Macleod Mathieson. Als Mitgr\u00fcnder von Mossburn half er ma\u00dfgeblich die Firma und deren beiden Brennereien aufzubauen. Die ersten Abf\u00fcllung unter dem Namen Mossburn wurden 2017 als eine Reihe klassischer Independent Bottler Malts ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Zu den Mossburn Distillers geh\u00f6ren die Brennereien TORABHAIG und REIVERS aus Schottland. Mossburn selbst geh\u00f6rt mittlerweile zum Marussia Beverages Konzern aus England, der seinen Hauptsitz in die Schweiz verlegt hat.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:<\/strong> Gr\u00fcnder Neil Macleod Mathieson begann seine \u00ab\u00a0Karriere\u00a0\u00bb als Importeur von anspruchsvollen Spiritousen. Er gr\u00fcndete das Unternehmen in England und nutzte f\u00fcr den Firmennamen (eher ungew\u00f6hnlich) einen franz\u00f6sischen Namen \u00ab\u00a0Eaux de vie\u00a0\u00bb. Es bedeutet soviel wie \u00ab\u00a0Wasser des Lebens\u00a0\u00bb bzw. ein klarer, farbloser Obstbrand, der durch G\u00e4rung und doppelte Destillation hergestellt wird. Perfekt f\u00fcr sein sp\u00e4teres Whisky-Abenteuer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Blended Malt Cask Bill 2<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ein Blended Malt Whisky aus <\/span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskys, die in Mossburn Cask Bill #2 einer zweiten Reifung unterzogen wurden. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Dies sind speziell gebaute ehemalige Oloroso-Sherry-Butts mit stark ausgebrannten Fass-K\u00f6pfen aus reiner amerikanischer Eiche, die die Reichhaltigkeit, die Tiefe und die w\u00fcrzigen Vanillearomen verst\u00e4rken.<\/span> Der Geschmack des Whiskys ist reichhaltig und komplex. Er hat eine leicht s\u00fc\u00dfe Note, die von einer angenehmen W\u00fcrze begleitet wird.
