Der Gr\u00fcnder Walter Teeling errichtete seine kleine <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Brennerei<\/span> an der Marrowbone Lane in Dublin. Das neue Destilleriegeb\u00e4ude wurde 2014 erbaut und steht nur wenige hundert Meter vom urspr\u00fcnglichen Standort entfernt. Seit Ende M\u00e4rz 2015 flie\u00dft Spirit durch die Pot Stills und die neue Destille startete. J\u00e4hrliches Produktionsvolumen 500.000 l.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:\u00a0 <\/strong>In der goldenen Zeit des irischen Whiskeys im 19. Jahrhundert waren die Destillerien in der \u00ab\u00a0The Liberties\u00a0\u00bb genannten Gegend im S\u00fcdwesten der Stadt nicht nur die wichtigsten Brennereien des Landes sie geh\u00f6rten zu den bedeutesten der Welt. Von Dublin aus gelang der legend\u00e4re Irish Whiskey hinaus in die Welt. Zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts wurde der irische Whiskey von zahlreichen Schicksalsschl\u00e4gen getroffen, was zur Folge hatte, dass zu Beginn der 1970er Jahre leider die letzte Whiskeydestillerie in Dublin schlie\u00dfen musste. \u00dcber 40 Jahre sp\u00e4ter h\u00e4lt die irische Whiskeyherstellung wieder Einzug in Dublin. Im Fr\u00fchjahr 2014 begann der Bau der Distillery in den Liberties. Der Phoenix ist das Symbol der Teeling Whisky Company und steht f\u00fcr den Neubeginn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: 12yo PX Sherry Single Cask<br \/>\n<\/strong><span data-v-46783aec=\"\" data-v-17ccad40=\"\">Der Teeling PX Single Cask ist ein exklusiver Single Malt Whiskey, der speziell f\u00fcr DrankDozijn abgef\u00fcllt wurde. Dieser 12 Jahre alte Whiskey wurde 2021 abgef\u00fcllt. Vorher reifte er 9 lange Jahre in F\u00e4ssern aus amerikanischem Eichenholz, gefolgt von einem dreij\u00e4hrigen Finish in einem Ex-Pedro-Xim\u00e9nez-Sherryfass aus Jerez de la Frontera. Das Eichenholz bereicherte diesen Whiskey um s\u00fc\u00dfe Nuancen.
