Das Wasser der zur Region Speyside geh\u00f6renden Brennerei stammt aus dem Cromdale Burn. Die <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Brennerei<\/span> wurde 1824 von James MacGregor gegr\u00fcndet. Begonnen hat man als kleine Farm-<span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Brennerei<\/span>, die ihre Gerste in Form von <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Whisky<\/span> haltbar machte. Derzeit gibt es keine leicht erh\u00e4ltlichen Balmenach Single Malts, die von der Brennerei selbst herausgebracht werden. Es gibt jedoch eine Reihe unabh\u00e4ngiger Abf\u00fcllungen. Unternehmen wie Gordon&amp;Mac Phail, That Boutique-y Whisky Company und Douglas Laing haben alle ihre eigenen Editionen von Balmenach Single Malt herausgebracht.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt: <\/strong>Die Balmenach Distillery wurde 1824, nur ein Jahr nachdem das Excise Act von 1823 mit der Lizenzierung der Whiskyproduktion begann, gegr\u00fcndet. Zuvor hatten die MacGregors einige Jahre lang eine illegale Brennerei auf der Familienfarm au\u00dferhalb der Stadt Cromdale betrieben. Die Gr\u00fcndung von Balmenach war eine Chance, den Betrieb aufrechtzuerhalten, ohne mit dem Gesetz in Konflikt zu geraten.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Best Dram 8yo 1st Fill Banyuls Barrique 2013\/2022<br \/>\n<\/strong>Speyside Single Malt und franz\u00f6sischer S\u00fc\u00dfwein gehen f\u00fcr den Balmenach 2013\/2022 eine k\u00f6stliche Liaison ein. Das Finish im First Fill Banyuls Barrique sorgt f\u00fcr Karamell- und Kirschnoten. Der Whisky hat innerhalb seiner 8 Jahre langen Fassreife von 2013 bis 2022 ein Finish im First Fill Banyuls Barrique #191 erhalten. Abgef\u00fcllt hat man ihn in Fassst\u00e4rke bei kr\u00e4ftigen 54,2%. Der Whisky kommt naturbelassen daher und es wurden 280 Flaschen abgef\u00fcllt!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sidenote zum Abf\u00fcller:<\/strong> Die Abf\u00fcllungen von Best Dram stehen f\u00fcr pers\u00f6nlich und vor Ort ausgew\u00e4hlte Abf\u00fcllungen, die den hohen Anspr\u00fcchen der beiden Whiskykenner Mike M\u00fcller und Michel Reick gerecht wird.
