Destille: Aberfeldy
\n<\/strong>Die schottische Malt Whisky-Brennerei Aberfeldy, gegr\u00fcndet 1896 durch die Familie Dewar, liegt im gleichnamigen Ort am River Tay in der Whisky Region Highlands. Die Geb\u00e4ude der Brennerei Aberfeldy liegen nahe dem gleichnamigen Ort und dem Fluss Tay sowie dem See Loch Tay. Das Wasser f\u00fcr die Produktion stammt aber aus dem Pitilli Burn, einem kleinen Fluss, der direkt an der Brennerei vorbei flie\u00dft. Heute geh\u00f6rt die Brennerei dem global agierenden Spirituosenkonzern Bacardi. J\u00e4hrliche Produktionsmenge ca. 3,4 Millionen Liter Alkohol.<\/p>\n

Fun Fakt:\u00a0 <\/strong>Aberfeldy ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Blended Whiskys Dewar’s, einer der meistverkauften Blended Scotch Whiskys in den Vereinigten Staaten.<\/p>\n

Whisky\/Whiskey: 15yo Cadillac Finish
\n<\/strong>Die Veredelung dieses 15 Jahre alten Single Malt in franz\u00f6sischen Semillon Cadillac-Wei\u00dfweinf\u00e4ssern verleiht dem Whisky Tiefe und Frische. Bei der Wei\u00dfweinsorte aus Frankreich handelt es sich also nicht um das gleichnamige Automobil sondern um die Region, aus welcher der edels\u00fc\u00dfe Wei\u00dfwein stammt. Dieser Aberfeldy verstr\u00f6mt Noten von gelben Fr\u00fcchten, Blumen und einem Hauch von Zitrusfr\u00fcchten, die sich mit dem f\u00fcr die Brennerei typischen weichen, honigs\u00fc\u00dfen Charakter verbinden. Pr\u00e4sentiert in einer eleganten Box, ist der Aberfeldy 15 Jahre Cadillac Finish nicht nur ein Genuss f\u00fcr den Gaumen, sondern auch ein Augenschmaus. Es handelt sich um eine limitierte Edition – Batch No. 2923\/A.<\/p>\n
