Die Brennerei wurde zu Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts von der Familie Warenghem gegr\u00fcndet. L\u00e9on Warenghem, der Gr\u00fcnder, stammte aus Nordfrankreich und seine Erben erzielten ihre ersten Erfolge mit dem Brennen pflanzlicher Lik\u00f6re. Das Elixir d\u2019Armorique, eine Mischung von 35 Pflanzen, ist das Vorzeigeprodukt der Brennerei. Das Elixir geh\u00f6rt bis heute zum Angebot der Brennerei. Zu Beginn der 80er Jahre tritt der ausgebildete Apotheker Gilles Leizour die Nachfolge seines Vaters an und mit der Unterst\u00fctzung des kaufm\u00e4nnischen Leiters Bernard Le Pallec beschlie\u00dft der immer auf eine weitere Verbesserung und Stabilisierung der Brennerei bedachte Gilles Leizour, sich in ein riskantes Wagnis zu st\u00fcrzen: die Einf\u00fchrung des ersten 100 % bretonischen &#8211; und franz\u00f6sischen &#8211; Whiskys. Mit dem Armorik wird 1998 der erste Single Malt aus der Bretagne und aus Frankreich insgesamt offiziell pr\u00e4sentiert.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun fact 1: <\/strong>Bei den World Whiskies Awards 2013 wurde Armorik Double Matured als bester europ\u00e4ischer Whisky ausgezeichnet, und 2014 erhielt er eine doppelte Goldmedaille bei der San Francisco World Spirits Competition.<br \/>\n<strong>Fun fact 2:<\/strong> Gilles Leizour setzt sich 2016 zur Ruhe und David Roussier, sein Schwiegersohn, der 2009 in die Brennerei eingestiegen ist, folgt ihm an der Spitze des Unternehmens und f\u00fchrt die geleistete Arbeit fort. Die Brennerei beteiligt sich an der Schaffung der Herkunftsbezeichnung \u201eWhisky Breton\u201c, die garantiert, dass jeder so bezeichnete Whisky ausschlie\u00dflich in der Bretagne gebraut, geg\u00e4rt, gebrannt und gereift wird.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Armorik Yeun Elez Edition Exclusive<br \/>\n<\/strong>Die Armorik Yeun Elez Edition Exclusive pr\u00e4sentiert einen exquisiten Single Malt Whisky, der mit gro\u00dfer Sorgfalt und Hingabe in der renommierten Brennerei Warenghem in Frankreich hergestellt wird. In Kooperation mit Alba Import pr\u00e4sentiert die Distillerie Warenghem den Yeun Elez Single Cask exklusiv f\u00fcr den deutschen Markt. Diese spezielle Abf\u00fcllung mit einer Reifung von f\u00fcnf Jahren, die von 2018 bis 2024 destilliert und abgef\u00fcllt wurde, verk\u00f6rpert die hohe Kunst der Whiskyproduktion. Mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 50 % bietet dieser Whisky eine kraftvolle und zugleich geschmacklich ausgewogene Erfahrung. Die Lagerung in einem Sherry Hogshead-Fass verleiht ihm eine tiefgr\u00fcndige Komplexit\u00e4t sowie markante Aromen, die an reife Fr\u00fcchte und s\u00fc\u00dfe Gew\u00fcrze erinnern.
