Neben der Herstellung gibt es auch ein Besucherzentrum, in dem Besucher mehr \u00fcber den Destillationsprozess erfahren und Whisky-Verkostungen genie\u00dfen k\u00f6nnen. Die Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr die Destillerie begannen im Jahr 2012, nachdem eine Gruppe von Unternehmern beschlossen hatte: Gal Kalkshtein, der Besitzer der Destillerie, zusammen mit Amit Dror, Simon Fried sowie Roee und Naama Licht, die erste Whisky-Destillerie in Israel zu gr\u00fcnden. Seit ihrer Gr\u00fcndung wurde der Betrieb der Destillerie von Dr. James Swan, einem weltbekannten Whisky-Experten, bis zu seinem Tod im Februar 2017 begleitet. Seit der Gr\u00fcndung der Destillerie ist Tomer Goren der Head Distiller.<br \/>\nDie ersten Produkte der Destillerie kamen im ersten Quartal 2016 in die Regale. Im Mai 2017 stellte die Destillerie Israels ersten Single-Malt-Whisky vor. Ihr Whisky, der mehr als 3 Jahre gereift ist, kann aufgrund des warmen Klimas in Israel, dass den Alterungsprozess beeinflusst und beschleunigt, optimal reifen lassen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:<\/strong> Einzigartig und ein Namensspiel&#8230; Alle Produkte der Destillerie sind koscher und der Name der Destillerie ist eine Anspielung auf die biblische Redewendung \u00ab\u00a0Das Schlaraffenland\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Single Cask 2019 (Bresser &amp; Timmer Exclusive)<\/strong><br \/>\nDer Milk &amp; Honey Oloroso Single Cask ist ein Single Malt Whisky aus Israel, der speziell f\u00fcr den niederl\u00e4ndischen Importeur Bresser &amp; Timmer abgef\u00fcllt wurde. Dieser Whisky reifte vollst\u00e4ndig und mindestens f\u00fcr 3 Jahre in einem ehemaligen Oloroso-Sherry-Cask. Insgesamt wurden 306 Flaschen auf ihrer nat\u00fcrlichen Fassst\u00e4rke von alc. 57 % vol. abgef\u00fcllt. Florale Einfl\u00fcsse und Noten von S\u00fc\u00dfem erg\u00e4nzen einander in der Nase.
