Destille: Wolfburn
\n<\/strong>Bei der Wolfburn Destillerie handelt es sich um eine neue Whisky Destillerie, die ihren Sitz in der Gemeinde Thurso in der schottischen Highland Region hat und die n\u00f6rdlichste Brennerei auf dem schottischen Festland ist. Sie wurde urspr\u00fcnglich bereits im Jahr 1821 erbaut, musste allerdings im Laufe des 19. Jahrhunderts wieder schlie\u00dfen und heute sind nur noch Ruinen des alten Geb\u00e4udes \u00fcbrig. Im Jahr 2011 wurde mit der Planung der Wolfsburn Whisky Destillerie begonnen und bereits im Jahr 2013 wurde der erste Single Malt Whisky produziert. Es handelt sich bei Wolfburn um einen kleinen Produzenten der nur ca. 115.000 Liter pro Jahr herstellt. Hier geht Qualit\u00e4t eindeutig vor der Masse.<\/p>\n

Fun Fakt:\u00a0<\/strong>Auf dem Logo findet sich ein Wolf, dessen verwandtes Fabelwesen, der sogenannte \u2018Seewolf\u2018, allen, die ihn zu Gesicht bekommen, Gl\u00fcck bringen soll. Im 16. Jahrhundert, als die Zeichnung f\u00fcr das Wolfburn Logo entstand, gab es in der Gegend jede Menge W\u00f6lfe<\/p>\n

Whisky\/Whiskey: Father’s Day 2020 Sherry Aged
\n<\/strong>Der Vatertag ist im UK eine popul\u00e4re Zelebration. Wolfburn stellt zu diesem Anlass eine erste rein Sherry basierende Destillerieabf\u00fcllung vor, den Fathers <\/b>Day 2020. Eine \u00abFathers Day\u00bb Abf\u00fcllung gab es zwar 2019 schon einmal. Dies war eine l\u00e4nderspezifische Abf\u00fcllung f\u00fcr den UK-Distributer. Die Abf\u00fcllung 2020 hingegen ist eine limitierte originale Destillerieabf\u00fcllung – es wurden nur 720 Flaschen abgef\u00fcllt!! Fathers Day ist eine \u00e4usserst gut gelungene reine Sherry-Abf\u00fcllung mit zarten, feingliedrigen Aromen, die den Stil der Destillerie erg\u00e4nzen aber nicht \u00fcberdecken.<\/p>\n
