Destille: Glenmorangie<\/strong>
\nGlenmorangie ist eine Whiskybrennerei in Tain in den Northern Highlands von Schottland.
\n1843 von der Br\u00fcdern Matheson gegr\u00fcndet und heute einer der gr\u00f6\u00dften und bekanntesten Destillerien in den Highlands. Seit Oktober 2004 geh\u00f6rt das Unternehmen zur Gruppe Mo\u00ebt Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH). Die wohl auff\u00e4lligste Besonderheit der Brennerei sind die au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich hohen Brennblasen. Mit acht Metern Gesamth\u00f6he und 5,14 Metern H\u00f6he oberhalb der Brennblase sind sie die h\u00f6chsten Brennblasen aller schottischen Brennereien. Dadurch wird der Glenmorangie Whisky in der Regel besonders mild.<\/p>\n

Fun Fakt:<\/strong> Bekannt wurde Glenmorangie auch wegen der \u00ab\u00a016 Men of Tain\u00a0\u00bb Regel, was so viel bedeutet, dass immer genau 16 Mitarbeiter in der Destille besch\u00e4ftigt sein sollten. Heute durch das j\u00e4hrliche Produktionsvolumen von bis zu 10 Mio. Liter wohl nur noch eine Legende…<\/p>\n

Whisky\/Whiskey: Bacalta Private Edition<\/strong>
\nDie Private Edition Range von Glenmorangie hat bereits reichlich Begeisterung ausgel\u00f6st und steht f\u00fcr rare Premium-Produkte mit Sammlerwert. Anfang 2017 wurde sie durch die faszinierende Bacalta Private Edition (8. Ausgabe der Private Edition-Reihe) erg\u00e4nzt.\u00a0 Dieser hochwertige Whisky aus Schottland ist ein Unikat. Hier hat Glenmorangie zum ersten Mal mit einer Nachlagerung in einem Malmsey Madeira Fass experimentiert, das in der Sonne getrocknet worden war. Man hat F\u00e4sser aus amerikanischer Eiche stark ausgebrannt und diese dann mit Malmsey-Wein bef\u00fcllt. Das Ganze lagerte unter direkter Sonneneinstrahlung in Madeira. Dann entleerte man die speziell hierf\u00fcr gefertigten F\u00e4sser und transportierte sie zur Destillerie Glenmorangie, um den Bacalta Whisky einem Finishing zu unterziehen. Er hatte zuvor regul\u00e4r in Bourbonf\u00e4ssern gereift.<\/p>\n
