\n<\/span><\/strong>Die Craigellachie Distillery ist eine Single Malt Scotch Whisky Destillerie im Dorf Craigellachie, im Zentrum der Speyside (Schottland). Der Name Craigellachie bedeutet \u00ab\u00a0felsiger H\u00fcgel\u00a0\u00bb und bezieht sich auf die Klippe, die den Fluss \u00ab\u00a0Spey\u00a0\u00bb \u00fcberblickt. Craigellachie wurde 1891 unter dem Namen \u00ab\u00a0Craigellachie Distillery Co. Limited\u00a0\u00bb von einer Gruppe aus Mixern und H\u00e4ndlern, unter der Leitung von Alexander Edward gegr\u00fcndet. Zwei Jahre sp\u00e4ter wurde sie als Aktiengesellschaft umfirmiert und 1896 als Craigellachie-Glenlivet Distillery Ltd. eingetragen. Seit 1997 befindet sich Craigellachie im Besitz von Bacardi. J\u00e4hrliches Produktionsvolumen: ca. 4 Mio. Liter<\/span><\/p>\n

Fun Fakt:<\/strong> Craigellachie geh\u00f6rte fr\u00fcher mal United Distillers (UD), die nun unter dem Diageo Konzern zusammengefasst sind. Sie war also eine Schwestermarke von Caol Ila, Cardhu, Clynelish, Cragganmore, Lagavulin, usw. Einer der Gr\u00fcnder 1891 war auch Peter Mackie, dessen Name unzentrennlich mit White Horse Distillers und dem weltber\u00fchmten Blend \u201eWhite Horse\u201c verbunden war.<\/p>\n

Whisky\/Whiskey: The Octave 2008\/2022<\/strong>
\nDer unabh\u00e4ngige Abf\u00fcller Duncan Taylor bietet seit Jahren in seiner \u00ab\u00a0The Octave Serie\u00a0\u00bb Whiskys an, die einer besonderen Nachreifung unterzogen wurden: In sehr kleinen F\u00e4ssern mit rund 50 Liter Inhalt, den sogenannten Octaves, bekommt der zuvor in anderen F\u00e4ssern gereifte Single Malt ein langes Finish, inklusive einer aromatischen Abrundung.
\nDer hier angebotene The Octave – Craigellachie 2008\/2022 wurde exklusiv f\u00fcr den Bottleshop Heilbronn in nur 86 Flaschen, mit 53,6% Fassst\u00e4rke, abgef\u00fcllt. Dieser seltene Single Malt von Craigellachie erg\u00e4nzt die Octave-Kollektion des Indie-Abf\u00fcllers Duncan Taylor perfekt, da er wie \u00fcblich lange nachreifen konnte (14 Jahre lang in Eichen-F\u00e4ssern und ein exklusiver, sieben monatiger Abschluss in einem winzigen kleinen Oktavfass). Es handelt sich um Bottle No.9 von 86!!!<\/p>\n

\nDuncan Taylor & Co ist ein unabh\u00e4ngiger Abf\u00fcller mit Hauptsitz in der Marktstadt Huntly in Aberdeenshire. Das Unternehmen ist vor allem f\u00fcr seine Black Bull-Reihe von Blended Scotch Whiskys mit hohem Malzgehalt und f\u00fcr Smokin’, eine Mischung aus getorften Islay-, Speyside- und Grain-Whiskys, bekannt.
