Dabei ist sie hervorgegangen aus einer Obstbrennerei. Seit dem Jahre 2001 entsteht hier der Finch Whisky aus Getreide (Weizen, Gerste und Dinkel) aus regionalem Anbau. Je nach <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Whisky<\/span> wird bis zu dreimal gebrannt. Der Markenname Finch klingt nach Schottland oder Irland, hat aber nichts damit zu tun.\u00a0 Der feste Wille, Qualit\u00e4t zu erzeugen, gepaart mit sauberen Zutaten, glasklarer Albluft und reinem Wasser f\u00fchrte recht bald zu Erfolgen. Ein erster Schritt war der Nationensieger Deutschland auf der Destillata 2011, es folgten u.a. die Auszeichnung zur \u201cWorld Class Distillery\u201d und \u201cDistillery of the Year\u201d beim Meininger International Spirits Award 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fact:\u00a0<\/strong>Im Januar 2012 ging die neue Pot Still Anlage in Betrieb, eine der gr\u00f6\u00dften in Deutschland. Nach schottischem Vorbild und den Vorstellungen von Fink konzipierte ein schw\u00e4bischer Brennereiausstatter diese Destille. Sie hat eine Kapzit\u00e4t bis zu 250.000 Liter pro Jahr.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Schw\u00e4bischer Highland Whisky Rye Edition 2<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eher selten findet man in Europa einen Whisky aus Roggen. Auf Basis von selbst angebautem Roggen, gereiftim einzigartigen Klima des Hochlandes der Schw\u00e4bischen Alb. Nach 5-j\u00e4hriger Lagerung in exquisiten Rotweinf\u00e4ssern entstand ein Whisky mit einem intensiv-fruchtigen Geschmack nach Trauben, Rosinen und Zitrusfr\u00fcchten, gepaart mit Karamell- und Gew\u00fcrznoten.
