So kam es bereits in den 1970er Jahren dazu, dass er von Korn auf Obst umstellte. Die Produktpalette der Brennerei Habbel bot somit nicht nur Produkte aus Korn, sondern auch eine Reihe von Obstbr\u00e4nden und Lik\u00f6ren. Im Jahr 2013 wurde eine weitere neue Brennerei erbaut \u2013 die Hillock Park Distillery &#8211; eine eigenst\u00e4ndige Marke im Hause Habbel. Die F\u00fcllmenge der Pot Stills von 1.700 Litern ist so gew\u00e4hlt, dass zugleich gro\u00dfe Mengen bew\u00e4ltigt werden k\u00f6nnen ohne dabei industriell zu werden. Gem\u00e4\u00df der Tradition ist das Unternehmen eine Manufaktur, ein klassisches Handwerk, das mit viel Liebe zum Detail \u00fcberzeugt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fact: <\/strong>Habbel ist ein deutscher Whisky Pionier! Denn Habbel ist der Destillateur &#8230; des ersten Whiskys Deutschlands &#8211; der \u201eUralter Whisky\u201c. 1977 von Michael Habbel pers\u00f6nlich destilliert und damit Deutschlands \u00e4ltester Whisky.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: HILLOCK 6 Sauternes Single Cask Malt<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Innerhalb der breiten \u00ab\u00a0Whiskypalette\u00a0\u00bb von Hillock, hat uns Habbel den HILLOCK 6 \u00ab\u00a0Sauternes Single Cask Malt\u00a0\u00bb zugeschickt. Wie der Name Hillock 6 schon verr\u00e4t, betr\u00e4gt die Reifedauer dieses Whiskys sechs Jahre, die er in ehemaligen Bourbon-F\u00e4ssern verbringt. Hergestellt aus Habbels Spezialmalz folgte zun\u00e4chst die Destillation im Pot-Still-Verfahren.
