Blanton\u2019s ist ein Bourbon Whiskey der Sazerac Company. Hergestellt wird Blanton\u2019s in der Sazerac-Destillerie Buffalo Trace in Frankfort in Kentucky.

Die Geschichte des Blanton’s Original beinhaltet viel Tradition. Mit zu damaligen Zeiten viel Geld kehrte der Abenteurer und Goldsucher Benjamin Blanton 1849 zur Zeit des amerikanischen Goldrausches in seine Heimat Kentucky zur\u00fcck. Es schien ihm erstrebenswert, sein Geld in \u201efl\u00fcssiges Gold\u201c zu verwandeln, daher gr\u00fcndete er eine Whiskey-Destillerie.<\/p>\n

Der Weg zum Blanton’s Original war aber noch weit, denn bereits nach vier Jahren verlie\u00df Benjamin Blanton die Lust. Erst 28 Jahre sp\u00e4ter \u00fcbernahm sein Sohn Albert die Buffalo-Trace-Destillerie und kreierte den ersten Single Barrel Whiskey<\/p>\n

Fun Fakt:\u00a0<\/strong>Die auffallende Flaschengestaltung mit der aufgesetzten Rennpferd-Figur spielt auf Kentucky als Heimatstaat der Pferdezucht und insbesondere des Kentucky Derbys an. Insgesamt gibt es acht unterschiedliche kleine Figuren, die Pferd und Reiter in verschiedenen Phasen eines Rennens vom Start bis zum Zieleinlauf zeigen. In den Korken ist jeweils ein Buchstabe eingraviert. Stellt man alle acht Verschl\u00fcsse nebeneinander, ergeben die Buchstaben das Wort \u201eBlanton\u2019s\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Whisky\/Whiskey: Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel 2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

Der 1984 wiedereingef\u00fchrte Bourbon <\/sup>war der erste Single Barrel<\/i> Whiskey am Markt \u2013 das hei\u00dft, bei der Abf\u00fcllung des Whiskeys wird nicht wie \u00fcblich der Inhalt vieler F\u00e4sser miteinander gemischt, sondern der gesamte Whiskey stammt aus einem einzigen Fass. Bedingt durch den Erfolg von Blanton\u2019s haben heute alle gr\u00f6\u00dferen Bourbon-Hersteller einen oder mehrere Single Barrel Whiskeys im Angebot.<\/p>\n

Bevor dieser Bourbon Whiskey abgef\u00fcllt wird, reift er zwischen 6 bis 8 Jahre in einer speziellen, aus Metall bestehenden Lagerhalle. Die sehr edle Aufmachung der Blantons Bourbon Flasche macht diese limitierten Abf\u00fcllungen zu einer der gefragtesten Bourbon Whiskey in Deutschland.<\/p>\n

Diese Flasche wurde am 17. Mai 2022 aus Fass Nr. 303 abgef\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n
