Eine Destillerie aus Roseisle, in der N\u00e4he von Elgin, Morayshire, Schottland. Roseisle war in vielen kontroversen Diskussionen verstrickt, noch bevor der erste Spatenstich f\u00fcr den Baubeginn erfolgte. Es hielt sich hartn\u00e4ckig das Ger\u00fccht, dass die Muttergesellschaft Diageo die Er\u00f6ffnung von Roseisle als Vorwand nutzen w\u00fcrde, um einige ihrer kleineren Standorte zu schlie\u00dfen. Was mit der ersten Ver\u00f6ffentlichung des 12-J\u00e4hrigen im Rahmen der Diageo Special Releases 2023 eindrucksvoll widerlegt wurde. Jede Destillerie kann mehr als einen Whisky-Stil herstellen \u2013 und viele tun das auch, wie z.B.Bruichladdich, Springbank usw.. Diageos Roseisle war jedoch zusammen mit Aisla Bay Teil einer neuen Welle, die speziell darauf ausgelegt war, eine Reihe unterschiedlicher Geistcharaktere hervorzubringen. J\u00e4hrliche Produktionskapazit\u00e4t: ca. 10 Mio. Liter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun fact:<\/strong> Gro\u00df und teuer&#8230; In Wirklichkeit ist die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe von Roseisle mit 10 Millionen Litern pro Jahr kleiner als die von Glenfiddich. Dennoch investierte Diageo in den Bau der Destillerie ca. 40 Mio. Pfund um die Erh\u00f6hung der Kapazit\u00e4t auf seinem gesamten Gel\u00e4nde zu realisieren&#8230; und nach Angaben des Mutterkonzerns war dies die erste Phase der gesamten Investitionen von ca 1 Milliarde Pfund (!!!!)&#8230; Wir k\u00f6nnen also gespannt bleiben.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: 12yo The Origami Kite (Diageo Special Releases 2023)<\/strong><br \/>\nSeit 2001 enth\u00fcllt Diageo jedes Jahr seine Special Releases \u2013 eine limitierte Serie von begehrten Scotch Whiskys, die die Breite und Tiefe ihres Portfolios erkunden.
