Destille: Nc’nean<\/strong>
\nDie Nc’nean Distillery ist eine schottische Whiskybrennerei in Drimnin auf der Halbinsel Morvern in den Highlands Schottlands. Der Brennereiname Nc’nean stammt von “Neachneohain”, einer g\u00e4lischen Legende, die als K\u00f6nigin der Geister \u00fcbersetzt wird. Die Besonderheit an Nc’nean ist der absolute Nachhaltigkeitsgedanke der Brennerei. So konzentriert sich Annabel Thomas und ihr Team auf die Herstellung einer Bio-Spirituose mit minimalen Auswirkungen auf die lokale Umwelt. Die Destillerie war die erste in Gro\u00dfbritannien, die zum einen w\u00e4hrend der Whiskyproduktion “CO2-emmisionsfrei” agiert und zum anderen die B Corp-Zertifizierung von B Lab bekommen hat.<\/p>\n

Fun fact:<\/strong> Im August 2020 verkaufte die Destillerie ihre erste Flasche Single Malt Scotch Whisky auf einer Auktion f\u00fcr \u00a3 41.004. Nc’nean spendete die komplette Summe f\u00fcr wohlt\u00e4tige Zwecke.<\/p>\n

Whisky\/Whiskey: Quiet Rebels Lorna
\n<\/strong>Die Serie Quiet Rebels dreht sich, um die Menschen, die die umweltfreundliche Bio-Brennerei zu dem machen, was sie ist. Die \u201eleisen Rebellen\u201c sind 14 umweltbewusste Genie\u00dfer mit der geteilten Mission, innovative und nachhaltige Spirituosen herzustellen. Jedem der Pioniere widmet die Serie einen eigenen Whisky. Ausgesucht von der jeweiligen Person, spiegelt der Single Malt deren Lieblingsaromen wider \u2013 ob diese nun durch neueste Fassexperimente oder die Hefeversuche der Brennerei entstanden sind \u2013 und erz\u00e4hlt ihre Geschichte. Im Fokus des zweiten Releases der Reihe steht Lorna Davidson, Team-Mitglied der ersten Stunde. Der auf 7.560 Flaschen limitierte Nc\u2019nean Quiet Rebels \u2013 Lorna macht sich die Vorliebe der Brennerin f\u00fcr s\u00fc\u00dfe Whiskys zunutze und pr\u00e4sentiert k\u00f6stliche Noten von Bananenbrot, Grapefruit und Pfirsich-Eiscreme. Der Organic Single Malt Scotch Whisky reifte in einer Kombination aus Bourbon Casks und Pineau-des-Charentes-F\u00e4ssern. Die mit dem s\u00fc\u00df-s\u00e4uerlichen Lik\u00f6rwein aus Frankreich vorbelegten F\u00e4sser erg\u00e4nzen die weiche S\u00fc\u00dfe der amerikanischen Eiche um helle und exotische Fr\u00fcchte.<\/p>\n
