Mars Shinshu Distillery umfasst mehrere Weing\u00fcter und insgesamt zwei Whisky-Destillerien (Shinshu und Tsunuki). Gegr\u00fcndet 1985 experimentiert Mars Shinshu permanent mit dem Einfluss des Klimas auf die Alterung von Whisky. Die daraus resultierenden Single Malts werden u.a. jedes Jahr in limitierten Editionen unter dem Namen Komagatake angeboten. Seit Jahren werden die Whiskys von Mars Shinshu immer wieder mit internationalen Preisen geehrt. Ein echter Geheimtipp!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun fact:<\/strong> Die Brennerei befindet sich Miyada (\u5bae\u7530\u6751), einem Dorf in dem Gebiet Nagano und ist mit rund 800m \u00fcber dem Meeresspiegel die h\u00f6chste Whiskybrennerei Japans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Tsunuki Edition (2023)<\/strong><br \/>\nDie Mars Tsunuki 2023 Edition ist ein wahrhaft exquisites Destillat, das ausschlie\u00dflich in der Tsunuki Destillerie im subtropischen S\u00fcden Japans hergestellt wurde. Seit der Er\u00f6ffnung im Jahr 2016 wurde die Anlage haupts\u00e4chlich zur Reifung genutzt, wodurch Tsunuki-Abf\u00fcllungen zu einem wertvollen und raren Gut geworden sind. Der Nachschub der Mars Tsunuki 2023 Edition reifte sechs Jahre lang in Bourbon Barrels, was zu einem einzigartigen Geschmacksprofil f\u00fchrt. F\u00fcr diesen Whisky wird Wasser verwendet, das einer Quelle am Berg Kurata entspringt, an dem die Tsunuki Brennerei liegt. Die Kreation aus 2023 wurde in F\u00e4ssern gereift, die Temperaturen zwischen 36\u00b0C und bitterkalten Wintern ausgesetzt sind.
