\n<\/strong>Die Dalmore Brennerei wurde im Jahr 1839 gegr\u00fcndet und ist eine der bekanntesten Single Malt Brennereien \u00fcberhaupt. Sie liegt elegant an der K\u00fcste des Cromarty Firth in den n\u00f6rdlichen Highlands. Das Wasser f\u00fcr Dalmore stammt aus dem schmucken Fluss Averon. Er flie\u00dft durch die gleichnamige Kleinstadt, in der die Brennerei steht. Der Fluss entspringt im nahe gelegenen Loch Morie tief im Herzen der n\u00f6rdlichen Highlands. Die Lage der Brennerei und der weiche, florale Geschmack machen Dalmore zum Highland Malt. Ein Blick auf die Geschichte Dalmores zeigt wie beeindruckend es ist, dass ein so kleiner Winkel in den n\u00f6rdlichen Highlands solch eine bewegte Vergangenheit aufweist. Alexander Matheson gr\u00fcndete die Brennerei 1839 mit dem Verm\u00f6gen, das er durch den illegalen Opiumhandel in Asien angeh\u00e4uft hatte. Der Betrieb der Brennerei verlief relativ glatt, bis die britische Royal Navy 1917 begann, den Meeresarm, an dem die Brennerei liegt, f\u00fcr die Produktion von Tiefseeminen zu verwenden. Im Jahr 1920 wurde ein Gro\u00dfteil der Brennerei durch eine Explosion und den darauf folgenden Brand zerst\u00f6rt, die durch die Detonation einer Mine verursacht wurde. Die Brennerei nahm schlie\u00dflich die Produktion wieder auf und ritt fortan auf einer Erfolgswelle. Die Lagerh\u00e4user bei Dalmore sind eine Art Wallfahrtsort, da sie einige der \u00e4ltesten Whiskyvorr\u00e4te der Welt beherbergen.\u00a0J\u00e4hrliches Produktionsvolumen: ca. 4,2 Mio. Liter.<\/p>\n

Fun Fakt:<\/strong> Die Brennerei wurde lange vom adeligen schottischen Mackenzie-Clan gef\u00fchrt. Ein Mitglied des Clans rettete einst K\u00f6nig Alexander III. auf Hirschjagd das Leben, indem er einen ihn angreifenden Hirschen in letzter Sekunde erstach. Daraufhin war der K\u00f6nig so dankbar, dass er dem Mackenzie-Clan gestattete den k\u00f6niglichen Zw\u00f6lfender Hirschen auf ihrem Wappen zu tragen. Noch heute ist dieses Symbol auf den Dalmore Flaschen abgebildet.<\/p>\n

Whisky\/Whiskey: 15yo<\/strong>
\nDer Dalmore 15 Jahre z\u00e4hlt zu den Klassikern der Dalmore Brennerei. Er ist ein eleganter Highland Single Malt Whisky und gilt als Meisterwerk von Andrew Mackenzie. F\u00fcr den Highland Single Malt werden von Hand ausgew\u00e4hlte F\u00e4sser verwendet – aus renommierten spanischen Weinkellern und von einigen der besten Weing\u00fctern der ganzen Welt. Nachdem The Dalmore 15yo f\u00fcr 12 Jahre in erlesenen Bourbon-F\u00e4ssern gereift ist, erh\u00e4lt er sein Finish in Sherry-F\u00e4ssern, zu denen auch Apostoles, Amoroso und Matusalem Oloroso geh\u00f6ren. Das Ergebnis sind Whiskys, die durch eine einzigartige Komplexit\u00e4t \u00fcberzeugen.<\/p>\n
