Seine Geburtsst\u00e4tte Segovia, eine historische Stadt nordwestlich von Madrid, war daf\u00fcr der ideale Ort. So entstand 1959 die erste spanische Whiskybrennerei, DYC (Destiler\u00edas y Crianza del <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Whisky<\/span>). Die Brennerei liegt auf \u00fcber 1.000 Metern \u00fcber dem Meeresspiegel am Fluss Eresma, inmitten der Natur am Fu\u00dfe eines Nationalparks. Der Fluss flie\u00dft um die <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Brennerei<\/span> herum und sorgt mit seiner Reinheit f\u00fcr eine mineralarme und sehr gute Wasserqualit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:<\/strong> Eine der Besonderheiten dieser <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Destillerie<\/span> ist, dass neben der Produktion von <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Whisky<\/span> auch der Klimaschutz f\u00fcr den Erhalt der Wasserqualit\u00e4t und die Wiederaufforstung der umliegenden W\u00e4lder auf dem Plan steht. DYC ist Vorreiter in Sachen Umweltschutz. So wird beispielsweise das Wasser nach der <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Produktion<\/span> in der hauseigenen Wasserversorgungsanlage gekl\u00e4rt, ges\u00e4ubert und gefiltert, was es erm\u00f6glicht, 98 Prozent des genutzten Wassers in den Eresma und somit in die Natur zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: 15yo 60th Anniversary<br \/>\n<\/strong>Es hat eine intensive Bernsteinfarbe. Ein wohlriechender, sauberer Geruch mit Getreide und Malz. Am Gaumen finden wir die lange Reifung in Eichenf\u00e4ssern wieder. Noten von Vanille, Karamell, N\u00fcssen und Marzipan f\u00fcllen Ihren Mund. Der Abgang ist lang, mit Komplexit\u00e4t, Rundheit und einem intensiven Geschmack von Holz und Malz. Seine hohe Qualit\u00e4t \u00fcberzeugte die Jury bei der am h\u00e4rtesten umk\u00e4mpften Ausgabe der San Francisco World Spirit Competition 2019.
