Sie will die gro\u00dfst\u00e4dtische Scotch Malt Whisky Tradition wieder in Glasgow etablieren. Im Jahr 1770 wurde die urspr\u00fcngliche Glasgow <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Brennerei<\/span> in Dundashill erbaut und 1825 durch die Glasgow Distillery Company \u00fcbernommen. Die <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Brennerei<\/span> konnte auf dem Markt aber nicht bestehen und musste 1903 geschlossen werden. 2013 wird die Glasgow Distillery Company neu gegr\u00fcndet und ist damit die erste neue <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Brennerei<\/span> innerhalb der Stadt seit \u00fcber 100 Jahren. Die Stills wurden 2014 eingebaut und der Produktionsstart des Glasgow <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Whiskys<\/span> begann noch im selben Jahr. Die j\u00e4hrliche Produktionsmenge betr\u00e4gt 440.000 Liter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt: <\/strong>Das erste Produkt nach dem Start 2014 war der Makar Glasgow Gin. Bis der erste eigene <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Whisky<\/span> abgef\u00fcllt wird, verkauft die Glasgow <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Destillerie<\/span> den preisgekr\u00f6nten Prometheus <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Whisky<\/span>, einen 26-j\u00e4hrigen, 27-j\u00e4hrigen und 28-j\u00e4hrigen Speyside Single Malt. Dieser wird von einer anderen <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Brennerei<\/span> eingekauft, aber durch die Glasgow <span class=\"tx-datamintslossaryextension-no-replacement\">Destillerie<\/span> abgef\u00fcllt und verkauft.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: 1770 Glasgow Release 2019<br \/>\n<\/strong>Der 1770 Glasgow Release 2019 ist der erste\u00a0 Whisky aus der The Glasgow Distillery. Dieser Lowlands Whisky wird in den Kupfer-Potstills Tara und Mhairi von Hand hergestellt und kombiniert feinste schottische Gerste und das au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich reine Wasser von Loch Katrine zu einem sehr feinen Whisky.
