Four Roses ist eine der Bourbon-Whiskey-Marken, die verstanden hat, dass ein High-End-Whiskey nur mit Leidenschaft in jedem Schritt des Produktionsprozesses kreiert werden kann. Die Marke aus Kentucky konzentriert sich nicht nur auf die Fassreifung, sondern beginnt die Whiskey-Kreation auch mit der Auswahl von Getreide und Hefe. F\u00fcr ihre Four Roses Bourbon kombinieren sie die Getreiderezeptur und den Hefestamm in einem spannenden Verh\u00e4ltnis. Der hohe Maisgehalt eines Rezepts sorgt f\u00fcr eine herausragende Geschmeidigkeit. Der Qualit\u00e4t eines reinen Bourbon-Whiskys verpflichtet, wird der Whisky nach der Destillation 5 bis 12 Jahre in neuen, verkohlten Wei\u00dfeichenf\u00e4ssern gereift.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:\u00a0 M<\/strong>ysteri\u00f6se Herkunftsbezeichnung des Destilleriegeb\u00e4udes&#8230; Das heutige Geb\u00e4ude existiert seit 1910 und ist im National Register of Historic Places aufgenommen. Er\u00f6ffnet wurde die Destillerie als Old Prentice Distillery, umgangssprachlich in der Gegend wird sie weiterhin als Old Prentice oder Old Joe bezeichnet. Sie tr\u00e4gt den Namen Four Roses erst seit 1986. Das Geb\u00e4ude orientiert sich dabei in seinem Aussehen an den spanischen Missionsstationen des 18.\/fr\u00fchen 19. Jahrhunderts in Kalifornien. Warum das Geb\u00e4ude in diesem Stil errichtet wurde, ist absolut unbekannt. Kentucky war nie ein Gebiet der spanischen Mission, und auch das Revival des Stils im 19. und fr\u00fchen 20.
