Whisky\/Whiskey: Campbeltown 2014 Blended Malt 8yo
\n<\/strong>Die Cask Series 21 des Indie-Abf\u00fcllers North Star Spirits ist ein hervorragender Blend, der Single Malts kombiniert, die 2014 in einer Reihe von nicht genannten Destillerien in Campbeltown destilliert wurde. Acht Jahre durfte dieser Blend in einer Kombination aus Portwein- und Oloroso-Sherry-Oktaven reifen. Abgef\u00fcllt in Fassst\u00e4rke (55,1 % Alc.) und limitiert auf nur 434 Flaschen.
\nIn der Nase finden sich “jede Menge Beerenobst, sirupartiger Flapjack und Vanillecreme mit einem Spritzer Sirup, sowie gezuckertem M\u00fcrbeteig”. Den Gaumen erfreuen “marmeladenartige, rote Fr\u00fcchte und Tanninholz aus Eiche, gepaart mit Datteln, getrockneten Kirschen und Johannisbeeren”. Abschlie\u00dfend genie\u00dft man im Abgang “nussiges Malz, ledrige Eiche und ged\u00fcnstete rote Fr\u00fcchten mit s\u00fc\u00dfer Backgew\u00fcrze”.
