Die neue Destillerie befindet sich auf dem historischen Ebrington-Gel\u00e4nde im Stadtzentrum und ist 2018 f\u00fcr die Destillation und f\u00fcr Besucher ge\u00f6ffnet. Zu Beginn der Quiet Man Craft Distillery Company wurde der Whiskey am Standort Niche Drinks in Derry\/Londonderry unter dem wachsamen Auge des Gr\u00fcnders und Eigent\u00fcmers Ciaran Mulgrew gereift, gemischt und abgef\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:\u00a0<\/strong>Fr\u00fch \u00fcbt sich&#8230; Quiet Man Whiskey wird von Ciaran Mulgrew kreiert &#8211; dem Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer und Miteigent\u00fcmer von Niche Drinks. Der Whiskey soll eine Hommage an seinen Vater John Mulgrew sein, einem Barkeeper, der den jungen Ciaran mit zur Arbeit nahm, damit er sich schon in jungen Jahren in die Atmosph\u00e4re der Pubs und den Geruch von Whiskey verlieben konnte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: The Quiet Man 8yo<br \/>\n<\/strong>Die Geschichte von The Quiet Man ist interessant, denn der Whiskey wurde von Ciaran Mulgrew kreiert &#8211; dem Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer und Miteigent\u00fcmer von Niche Drinks, einem Unternehmen, das ebenfalls St. Brendan Irish Cream und Irish Coffee Lik\u00f6re herstellt.<br \/>\nDer 8 Jahre alte Single Cask Sherry reift in Ex-Bourbon-F\u00e4ssern und reift dann 24 Monate lang in 30 Jahre alten Oloroso-Sherryf\u00e4ssern (zum ersten Mal abgef\u00fcllt). Es handelt sich um eine limitierte Auflage von 950 Flaschen. In der Nase riecht man &#8220;Haselnuss, Honig, Zuckerwatte, ein Hauch von Birne. Rote Fr\u00fcchte und Kirschkompott im Hintergrund&#8221;. Der Geschmack zeichnet sich durch &#8220;ein Hauch von roten Fr\u00fcchten, ein Hauch von Karamell und Vanille&#8221; aus und im Abgang kann man einen &#8220;anhaltenden Nachgeschmack von Milchschokolade und Toffee&#8221; wahrnehmen.
