W\u00e4hrend man auf die Reifung der ersten eigenen Whiskys wartete, wurden unter der Marke Widow Jane bereits erste, noch zugekaufte, Bourbon und Rye Whiskeys aus einer anderen nicht benannten Brennerei aus Kentucky vertrieben.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Das Wasser, das Widow Jane f\u00fcr die Produktion nutzt, entstammt den Kalksteinh\u00f6hlen von Rosendale. Es kommt aus der \u201eWidow Jane Mine\u201c, nach der sich das Unternehmen benannte. Als einzige Brennerei verwendet es dieses Quellwasser. Es schenkt dem Whisky eine weiche Geschmeidigkeit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Apple Wood Rye Mash Whiskey<br \/>\n<\/strong>Das Unternehmen Widow Jane bringt mit dem Apple Wood Whiskey einen Rye-Mash-Whisky mit kr\u00e4ftiger Roggennote auf den Markt. Nach der Destillation reift die Spezialit\u00e4t mehrere Jahre in F\u00e4ssern, deren Dauben aus Eichen- und Apfelholz bestehen. Sie tragen zum frisch-holzigen Aroma des Getr\u00e4nks bei. Fr\u00fcher lagerte in den F\u00e4ssern von Widow Jane Bourbon. Dadurch erh\u00e4lt der Whisky seine s\u00fc\u00df-karamellige Grundnote und seinen sanften Schimmer. Der Geruch des Apple Wood Rye Mash Whiskeys macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Er erinnert an Apfelholz mit einer s\u00e4uerlichen Note Apfelwein. Bei seinem s\u00fc\u00df-cremigen Hauch denken Genie\u00dfer an frische Donuts mit einer Spur dunkler Schokolade. Der rauchige Holzduft begleitet jeden Schluck. Beim Widow Jane Apple Wood Rye Mash Whiskey erwartet die K\u00e4ufer ein mittellanger, sanfter Abgang. Die rauchigen und herben Nuancen r\u00fccken in den Hintergrund.
