Die Destille liegt ganz in der N\u00e4he des Ortes Alness. Direkt in der Nachbarschaft befinden sich weitere bekannte Highland Brennereien, wie Dalmore und Glenmorangie. Das Wasser f\u00fcr Teaninich wird von den Dairywell-Quellen herangeschafft. Heute geh\u00f6rt die Brennerei zum gro\u00dfen Whisky-Konzern Diageo. J\u00e4hrliches Produktionsvolumen: ca. 10 Mio. Litern pro Jahr.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:\u00a0<\/strong>Teaninich Single Malts sind schwer zu bekommen. Die erste Single Malt Abf\u00fcllung von Teaninich kam erst 1992 auf den Markt \u2013 ein zehnj\u00e4hriger Whisky in der Flora und Fauna Serie. Diese Abf\u00fcllung ist mittlerweile nur noch schwer zu bekommen. Auch unabh\u00e4ngige Abf\u00fcller bekommen den Whisky nur selten in die Finger. Der Grund hierf\u00fcr d\u00fcrfte in der Wichtigkeit f\u00fcr den Johnnie Walker Blend liegen, f\u00fcr den Teaninich eine der Hauptkomponenten stellt. Der Teaninich Malt wird f\u00fcr verschiedene Blends eingesetzt, insbesondere als eine der Hauptkomponenten im Johnnie Walker.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Single Cask Seasons Spring Edition 2022 (Signatory Vintage)<br \/>\n<\/strong>Der Whisky wurde exklusiv f\u00fcr den Importeur Kirsch im Zuge der Seasons-Reihe abgef\u00fcllt. Der Abf\u00fcller Signatory Vintage f\u00fcllte diese Spring Edition ab. Mit dem Teaninich 2009\/2022 bl\u00fcht Whisky-Freunden nicht nur ein seltenes, sondern passend zur Jahreszeit auch lebhaftes Geschmackserlebnis. Nach 7 Jahren, inklusive Sherry Butt Finish, kombiniert die saisonale Abf\u00fcllung abwechslungsreiche Noten wie dunkle Fr\u00fcchte und angebrannte Haseln\u00fcsse, saftige Blutorange und einen Hauch Kokos. Der Dram f\u00fcr die wechselhafte \u00dcbergangszeit entfaltet sich bei erh\u00f6hter Trinkst\u00e4rke von 48,7% vol. \u2013 durch den Verzicht auf K\u00fchlfiltration und Farbstoff v\u00f6llig unverf\u00e4lscht. Es entstanden 803 Flaschen.<br \/>\n<strong>Sidenote zum Abf\u00fcller:<\/strong> Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky wurde 1988 von Andrew Symington gegr\u00fcndet, der zuvor das renommierte Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh geleitet hatte. Das erste Fass, das von Symington in Flaschen abgef\u00fcllt wurde, war ein 1968 in Sherryf\u00e4ssern gereifter Glenlivet. Im Jahr 2002 erwarb Signatory die Destillerie Edradour von Pernod Ricard und verlegte anschlie\u00dfend alle seine Aktivit\u00e4ten nach Norden in den malerischen Standort Perthshire.
