Nachdem 2019 der erste Single Malt ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde, war die limitierte Auflage von 1000 Flaschen innerhalb von drei Stunden ausverkauft. Die Destillerie aus der britischen Metropole geht ihren eigenen Weg \u2013 und zwar ziemlich erfolgreich. Die Craft Distillery setzt vollst\u00e4ndig auf traditionelle Methoden und lokale Produkte: Die Gerste f\u00fcr den Single Malt London Whisky stammt von einer einzigen Farm aus Hampshire, wird klassisch auf dem Malzboden gem\u00e4lzt und fermentiert mit sieben Tagen mehr als doppelt so lang wie \u00fcblich in Washbacks aus der hauseigenen K\u00fcferei.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:<\/strong> Der Mitbegr\u00fcnder Dariusz Plazewski der Bimber Distillery gr\u00fcndete im Jahr 2022 auch die Dunphail Distillery in Schottland! Er ging diesen Weg von London um in Dunphail ausschlie\u00dflich Whisky herzustellen und keine anderen Br\u00e4nde.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Apogee XII Pure Malt<br \/>\n<\/strong>Der Bimber Apogee XII Pure Malt ist der erste weitreichend verf\u00fcgbare Standard Whisky der Londoner Destille. Pure Malt ist dabei eine traditionelle Bezeichnung f\u00fcr einen Blended Malt, eine Verm\u00e4hlung verschiedener Single Malts. Die Single Malt Whiskys, die f\u00fcr den Apogee XII Pure Malt verheiratet wurden, stammen aus der schottischen Speyside und den Highlands. Nach der Verm\u00e4hlung wurde der Malt Blend in Ex-Bourbonf\u00e4ssern nachgereift, die zuvor Bimber Single Malt enthielten. Das Ergebnis ist ein fruchtig-s\u00fc\u00dfer Malt mit feiner Eichenw\u00fcrze. Die stilvolle Flasche ist der Oberfl\u00e4che der kleine Brennblasen von Bimber nachempfunden.
