Brickman gegr\u00fcndet wurde. Benromachs Geschichte besteht aus zwei verschiedenen Teilen. Die in Forres ans\u00e4ssige Destillerie war ein Neubau des sp\u00e4ten 19. Jahrhunderts.<br \/>\nDer Bau der Destillerie begann zwar 1898, aber die Brennerei startet erst 1900 mit der Herstellung von Whisky. In den folgenden Jahren ging Benromach durch eine Reihe von H\u00e4nden: MacDonald Greenlees, Joseph Hobbs, National Distillers of America und schlie\u00dflich DCL. Der Industrieriese hielt es bis 1983 am Laufen, bevor es dann, aufgrund eines branchenweiten Lager\u00fcberschusses, schlie\u00dfen musste. Nach 11 Jahren &#8220;des Schweigens&#8221; wurde es von Elgins Gordon &amp; MacPhail gekauft. Die Firma machte sich dann daran, eine neue Destillerie in der H\u00fclle der Alten zu bauen. J\u00e4hrliches Produktionsvolumen: ca. 0,4 Mio. Liter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fun Fakt:\u00a0 <\/strong> In den 11 Jahren des Schweigens schlachten die damaligen Besitzer DCL die Destillerie komplett aus. Sie verkauften das gesamte Interior und alles was nicht &#8220;niet und nagelfest&#8221; war, sodass die neuen Besitzer Gordon &amp; MacPhail quasi von null beginnen mussten. Hoffentlich haben sie einen g\u00fcnstigen Preis bezahlt und wurden nicht ausgetrickst&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Whisky\/Whiskey: Vintage 2010 Cask Strength (Batch 1)<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wenn ihr eine F\u00fclle ein Geschmacksrichtungen wollt, wenn ihr einen Whisky in Fassst\u00e4rke sucht&#8230; dann seid ihr hier richtig! Ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlicher Speyside Single Malt von Benromach, pr\u00e4sentiert in absoluter Fassst\u00e4rke mit 58,5% ABV \u2013 k\u00f6stlich! Diese besondere Edition wurde 2010 (Batch 1) destilliert und in First-Fill-Hogshead-F\u00e4ssern gereift.
